Hello Everyone! New and working on my 100 lb weight loss!

Hi, I am new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I have been on my " current " weight loss journey for 18 days now! I have lost a total of 14lbs since Nov. 19th
I Started at 236 and now weigh 222 as of this-morning!!!!
I have been struggling with losing weight since High School. My highest weight ever was 292 lbs. I weighed this much in 2009. I seen a picture my mom took of me during a family get together in July 2009 and cried for almost an hour after looking at it. I never realized how big I was until I seen that picture. Anyway after crying about it I decided it was time for a change. I went a strict diet, started exercising daily and by December 2009 I got down to 260 lbs but didnt stay there long because I got pregnant and ended up gaining almost all the weight back during my pregnancy. My baby is now 18 months old and I managed to get my weight down to 236 in June 2012, but I kind of fell off the wagon, so to speak, and stopped trying to lose weight and just worked on maintaining my weight, which I did a great job of doing over these last 5 months. But as of last months I realized that I need to get my butt into gear and finish what I started, so as of last month I am working on losing weight again and getting down to my goal of 192 lbs which will be a 100lbs loss from my highest weight. So we will see what happens and I look forward to getting to know everyone on here and hearing about your weight loss journeys :seeya:
 
Welcome! I am glad you are here. Have you started a diary yet? I have found that to be very helpful. What is your plan for getting back in track and reaching your goal?

I dont have a Diary, but I do have a food journal to keep track of my calories and what I eat every day. I find it helps a lot.
Right now my plan is to lower my calories to 1200 a day and work out for at least 60-75 minutes every day. Ive only been walking to and from the park every day for the last few months and Ive been on a 1500-1600 cal diet. So far I think its working. Weighted my self today and got down to 220.1 :hurray: So I think as long as I stick on this plan I should be able to get to my goal by next July!
