Hello everyone,
I am so happy that I have found this forum and hopefully you guys can give me some tips to lose weight. I am 27 year old, have always been super skinney until I had my 1st child 3 years ago. Now I am 201 I am 5'7 and need help. I have started using my eliptical at home every night just started 3 days ago. I try to stay on there for at least 30 minutes!! Im so out of shape it sad I cant do more than 30 minutes :( Any how I want to try to find an app or something where I can keep track of my calorie intake. I have stop drinking sodas:) Any other suggestions???

Thanks in advance for your help.

When I started working out, I couldn't do fifteen minutes on the elliptical.
Trust me, it gets a lot better after some time.

There's calorie counters all over the place - google can help you find one. I personally use , it works perfectly for me - I follow the calorie advice given there, and I'm steadily losing weight without it being overly hard.
Stopping drinking sodas is a great first step, next up is candy.

Good luck!

hi, i just joined myself, i get kidded a lot at work because of my size, im tall broad shoulders and thick in the chest, today i decided to try and lose weight by my birthday feb 17, my wife says im fine and she means it, i started taking cayenne pepper pills about a month ago, one a day with meals, curbs the hunger and you feel full but i munch all night because im bored, morning i have toast and coffee, lunch yogurt, now after work i had celery and peanut butter, later i will have corn flakes, did this a few years ago and lost 50 pounds felt good, but slowly got lazy and packed it on, my job is very physical so if i cut my nightime eating should be fine, just have to get in the havbit of not snacking at night, saw you were new thats why i wrote, hope thats ok, well tks

Just keep at it! Make sure you give your body time to rest and grow as well. I personally use to keep track of my calorie intake, but there are probably hundreds of others to use as well! When I lost my 51 pounds most of my diet consisted of proteins, some carbs for energy, and a few healthy fats in foods like almonds and peanut butter (about 50% protein/30% carbs/20%fats). This seemed to work great for me and I've seen a lot of others have success with a plan like this as well. Chicken and Tuna became my best friends! Good luck and if you ever have any questions, I'd be more than happy to assist!

Be persistent don't give up. I know it's really hard and tiring at first but keep doing that over and over again. As long as you have a proper exercise and balance diet then your weight lose is guaranteed.
