Hi everyone! My name is Alexis and after browsing this site, I was encouraged to be a part of such a positive group of people!
I have struggled many years with my weight but I'm ready and encouraged to take control. My freshman year in high school, I was 230lbs and lost 60lbs by my sophmore year. I gained it all back my freshman year in college.
BUT after defeating the depression and lack of motivation from gaining it back, I'm ready to make the changes in my life for good.
I just joined Gold's Gym and plan on exercising regularly (5 times a week), eating salads, drinking water, and eating apples and fruits when I have cravings. I'm a big "sweets person" and it's going to take a lot of self control, but it's encouraging to think about the fact that I've done it before and with the willpower, can do it again!
I look forward to all the encouraging posts and hope to learn and motivate each other within the forum. Thanks for reading and have a blessed day!
