hello everybody

I am about to turn 40 and enjoy running and have participated in a couple of 10K runs but now want ot balance out my cardio endurance with some general strength training. Hope to make a few friends while I am here.

Abdominal Training

A continued education on various types of exercises and how these certain exercises directly and indirectly involve various muscles will serve you well.

DO NOT forget this.

Additionally, read on the purpose and overall FUNCTION of the ab core--this WILL serve you well.

The core can be the most misunderstood but sometimes most sought after body part.

And IMO, is best brought to surface through a well thought out and designed training routine:

That can include a FBW (upper/lower split, "or equivalent" so-to-speak and body weight exercises, etc, etc), and "proper and individualized" diet needs (calorie intake specific to the person and activities taken into consideration).

Of the two mentioned (exercise and diet), diet circumference is THE most important player.
