Hello All!

Let me start off by saying, I am NOT new to the struggle of weight loss, but am new to the idea of a internet forum as a motivator for weight loss. I have actually been in this struggle for about 6 months now. I have sort of fallen off the wagon during the holidays ( Thanksgiving and Christmas). But, am ready to begin again.

I am renewing my wedding vows in June of this year........and that is my biggest motivator. My current weight is 135. My goal weight is 115.......I think I will be comfortable at 120. I know that doesn't sound like alot, but it can really be tough sometimes.

I am a wife, a student and a working mother of two wonderful kids.....

I hope everyone accomplishes their goals and I also wish this forum will be beneficial for all.

Hats off to you tex gurl and congratulations on renewing your vows!! Welcome to the board! I lost 14lbs last year and I can tell you that internet forums are a great tool. This one in particular is really cool it seems because everyone is motivated and doing different things. I am sure that you will find lots of info to help you get to where you want to be before that special day.

Thanks for the welcome! I am really looking forward to using this forum as a tool, for my weight loss journey. Hopefully I can get some new tips on what exercises to do to get the most out of my workout. And, what foods to stay away from, while dieting. There has been so much information published about what to eat and what not to eat.....it is kinda hard to believe anyone at this point.
 
texgurl, i am totally in your situation weighh about 135 and would like to get down to 118......it seems like it's not a lot but it's a struggle to get that weight off for me, and to keep it off!
