Hi everyone!
I am an aspiring personal weight loss coach hoping to share my experiences with others who are having to deal with the same problems I had and luckily managed to overcome.
Having been overweight for the majority of my life (I’m now 25), I struggled with half-hearted attempts at dieting and exercise for years, but have over the course of around 18 months managed to develop a sort of “approach” that allowed me to slowly but steadily lose weight so that I got down to 70kg from 95kg. During this time I benefited immensely from a large variety of online resources and am now making it my mission to give something back in the same way by sharing my weight loss approach that evolved through much trial and error (I’m currently working on a book and will hopefully find a way to work with clients in the future).
But whilst I have these futuristic plans to become a health professional, for now I’ll do my best to contribute to the forum by sharing my experiences and answering questions that I might have some knowledge about. I’d say my area of relative expertise is the psychology of weight loss, the mental structures that can mean success or failure, so that’s what I’ll hopefully be able to give some advice on.
