Hello all.

Like everyone in this thread I am new, from NY, 170lb, 34m tried of being pudgy and deiced that it's time too get fit. Dieting (more like cut back on portions and less junk) helped to lose 20lbs but still poor eating and health habits are stalling the process. I know that exercising will do more but the motivation to do it is killing me. Commuting, working and family seems to take much of my time. I know I'm making excuses but I'm so drained at the end of the day.

I have been researching workout plans that can; a) help target core area, b) show me what to eat and c) the right way to exercise, well guess what, it's "buy my book" every time. I've read some where "if you feel stupid doing it, then it's working" exercise isn't pretty. To be honest I've join a gym and don't know what the hell I'm doing. I found this website from the "almighty Google" and hope to find new cyberbuddies that can help me. I would really like to find a workout buddy in my area but as grown man the idea of going up to a guy in the gym and asking "So you workout much?, Wanna workout together sometime?" just well.......(not there is anything wrong with it -Seinfeld) or asking a gal doesn't seem like it would go over well either.
