Hey,
My name is Mandi. I am 25, married mother of 2. Last year I was well on my way to reaching my ideal weight, then it seemed out of nowhere the weight started piling back on. In less than a year I gained back 20 pounds. I've gotten off about 6-7 pounds but I have a ways to go- the goal is to lose 20 more pounds. I have almost completely eliminated fast food- I now only have fast food about once a month. I am eating tons more fruits and veggies than I ever used to. I have seriously cut back on the soda, but I do need to increase my water intake.
My big problem is getting motivated and moving. I can't seem to get up and exercise. I'm just too lazy! :) BUT! I am going to do whatever it takes to get up and get this weight off.
So, here I am looking for buddies on my journey and motivation along the way.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Don't cut out food, just cut down, you will lose your weigh! Cut out the junk or most all the junk there are foods you can substitute, lol. Just use portion size when eating your meals. Read the rules and stickes on this page and get started with your diary and don't forget to exercise.

Hello!

Hope your well. It's the motivation I struggle with as well. You have got the healthy eating bit sorted girl perhaps we can motivate each other. I'm also going to see if there's any challenges around that can help keep me on my toes. I don't have a gym membership so I need to get up and get running or walking or cycling. What exercise do you have in mind?
