I guess i signed up here a long time ago, but never did anything! :p

Im 26 (almost 27) male and i live in St. Louis, Mo. Im 6'1 and weigh 350 lbs. but some say i carry it well because i am taller. Either way I am not happy with it anymore!

I have been overweight most of life but things got worse for me around 5 or 6 years ago. I got C. Diff, pulled a muscle, had gall bladder taken out and then diagnoised with ibs along with being out of work for 10 months straight. Along with that Ive dealt with daily head aches for 6-7 years, one reason why Ive not worked out much. Doing too much exercise made my head aches 10x's worse. But lately they have gotten better so Im planning on taking control.

One main thing for me is motivation. I get motivated but then after a week or so I say to my self "who cares im fat" and i give up. I hate vegetables so that doesnt help at all either.

Myself and wife are trying to eat healtier and going to start going to the gym regularly!!

Welcome

I am also new to the forum. Maybe if you give yourself small goals to help you stay motivated instead of looking at the big picture and giving up.

Hey RedX, welcome and good luck. I agree with Melissa that setting smaller goals might be a good idea to keep the motivation up!
