Yo YO dieter. Tried them all, failed. My husband and I asked our doctor for help and he sent us to Slimming World last November. To cut a long story short. My husband has lost 3 stones and I a stone and a half In the UK a stone is 14lbs. We have joined a walking club and are gradually taking control of our lives again.
I had so many friends on here last time I was on: Cate, who was such a nice lady and many others. I hope to talk to lots of you in the future.
The only question I have is how the heck do I put a signature? I can't even find the signature tab on my profile etc

Hi Dumpy & welcome back! Slimming World seems to have a good reputation & another member, who also lives on the Welsh Borders (Polly) goes there, along with her husband. The forum is busier than when you were here last. There's a great bunch of people who are fun, caring & very supportive. You have to wait a little while before you have the option of adding a signature. It won't be long. I think it's only about 10 posts, but I'm not sure about that. It's nice having you back hon. Onwards & upwards :D

Where in the UK is she? Do you know which group she goes to? I could do with a buddy. So nice to here you are still here Cate and La Maria. Since I was last here, our God daughter has opened a shop just 20 miles away. Organic food. It's like manna from heaven.

That's wonderful that your goddaughter has opened an organic store not far from you. You could send Polly a private message asking her which Slimming World she goes to. Her profile is at https://weight-loss.fitness.com/members/polly.98941/ I know her meetings are at 9.30 & "in a community centre with good parking. It is opposite an out of town Tesco"

Hello Dumpy. I live in Hereford. I go to the Belmont community centre Slimming World. It is in the south of Hereford, opposite the big Tesco superstore and just off that awful roundabout. You know the one? You have to wait until someone throws a six before you can go. Our meetings are at 9.30 and 11.30am We are a very friendly bunch. Usually between 40 and 50 of us at each meeting, all ages and sizes. There are meetings all over the city, morning, afternoon and evening ones. Go to their web site, stick in your post code and a list of groups nearest to where you live will come up.

If you decide to join us, I’ll meet you somewhere convenient to you for your first one. Hope to see you soon
