Hi everyone. I joined about 3 weeks ago & lasted a week until my sick 17 year old 'baby' cat took a bad turn and had to be put to sleep. He is at rest now bless him.

I totally went off track and lost focus which is something that I have struggled with over the past 5 months. I won't go into detail again but a lot of sadness has surrounded me over this time and my weight has suffered. I bought a new pair of pants about a month ago in a larger size than I would normally wear, they no longer fitted me when I went to put them on this morning. I have gone up 2 dress sizes since December :cuss:

On a positive note, I have joined Jenny Craig tonight because I know I really need the extra guidance at this point in time. I did JC about 5 years ago and found out tonight that I had paid for a platinum membership which means I had to pay no joining fee tonight, and I am entitled to monthly meetings once I get to goal weight, and, they will give me back half the membership fee if I don't gain more than 2 kilos within the first year. Something tells me that I am meant to be doing this :Angel_anim:

So here I am and I look forward to hearing all your stories.
 
Hi, and welcome back :) I'm sorry to hear you've had additional struggles, you didn't need anymore when you were back here last time.

Would it be worthwhile for you to set up a weight loss diary? I find it very helpful to be able to list my food and exercise (as well as have a bit of a rant and rave about life stuff) and get feedback. I'd be interested to see what the Jenny Craig program involves (used to see it on TV when I lived in Australia) and I'd love to help with the diet (half your money back? Awesome, a challenge, I'm up for it)
 
Hi Amy and thanks for your kind words. My cat had been sick the whole time and seeing him like that was adding to my stress. Also, I've come to the realisation that we need challenges in life in order to grow so I'm getting plenty of opportunities from the universe to really advance myself. Now to get the weight in order again!

I will keep a diary once I'm making my own meals but there probably isn't much point when my meals are prepared. However, I love anything to do with health and wellbeing so find this site very addictive.
