Well just saying hello, im 16 from the UK i enjoy playing rugby but dont do much physical activity apart from that.

Basically the fact is i want to loose weight, and i have set my self a target to loose 2 stone before september. At the moment i am 14stone(196pounds) and 5ft11inchs(179cm). I feel now is the right time for me to loose some weight as all my friends are more skinny than me and to be honest i aint haveing much look with the ladies.

Basically what i would like to ask is, is my target achieveable in this time limit and maybe some things that i could work on. Basically just tips that will help me.

1 stone = 28lbs
28lbs in 2 months is a lot to lose... but in 2 months, you'd definitely be closer to your goal than you are today.

What does your food plan look like? what are you currently eating? and what kinds of changes are you going to make to your diet. you don't want to drop your calories too low as your body is still growing and developing.

you can't be concerned with what other people look like, you can only be concerned with yourself and how you feel.

i aint haveing much look with the ladies.
"luck" with the ladies has everything to do with how you feel about yourself and your confidence level rather than what you weigh.

almost 6 feet tall at age 16 is awesome - tall boys are a good thing - especially tall boys who play rugby :)

Well i would'nt say i eat alot and i dont eat much if any junk food. I think were i go wrong is eating alot of buttered bread with meals aswell as eating alot of pasta.

A couple of things i have thought about is reducing the amount of bread and pasta i eat aswell as cutting down on the actual amount i eat. Also i think i am right in saying i would be better eating 3 meals a day, say some wholegrain cereal for breakfast, a light sandwhich with salade for lunch. Then a smaller meal for tea.

I am also thinking about going on runs 3 days a week, maybe 2 or 3 miles (as i am not that unfit) and going to the gym. Would i be better working on the cross trainer, bike or just running?

Finally i suppose i am loseing weight because of what other people look like, but its not been promted by anyone else. So therefore i am doing it for me not anyone else, also i will be going into the colts (under 17's and 18's) next year so i will need to be alot fitter to get a game.
