Hello! 40 lbs to go in CA

Hey Everyone! This is the first weight loss forum I've ever joined so go easy on me.


I need to lose about 40 to 50 lbs. I've been pretty fit my whole life but I'm at a desk job since graduating from college (last 5 years or so now) and my wife doesn't have the best eating habits (so I cave to bad habits too).


Anyway, hoping to learn a lot, get motivated, and give back when and where I can!

Try keeping a diary on the weight loss diary section. Its good to keep a food log.

Hey aron, you are most welcome to this forum. Definitely you will have loads of tips and hints regarding your weight loss. In order to shed your unwanted weight you should have strong determination and dedication as you know you will have to push yourself beyond the edges. The best way to reshape yourself is to hit the gym with proper diet regularly.

You seem a bit down heartened if you don't mind me saying and I think everyone here knows that feeling! Motivation is difficult as everyones different.

Make a list of some of your goals, realistic mini goals & some more higher goals, not even just weight related but life goals! Anything positive to lush you forwards. Sit down with your wife and explain that you're not doing it anymore and you think she should support you but also join you so you can lead happier healthier lives not just for yourselves but for your children too!

You can do it Aaron! Believe in yourself and you will get to your goal! :)
