i dont know how tru and exact this story is but i am worried now

 :(

Did your friend personally witness this? Or was this a friend telling a friend and so on...? Any number of factors could have contributed to the heart attack (if indeed that's what it was) - was the instructor pushing too hard? did the guy's heart have a defect that he was unaware of? was he pushed or pushing himself well beyond his capacity?. If you're unsure about it, talk to your doctor/trainer/ instructor - between them they should help to form an informed opinion and a plan of action.

Sounds like a spinning class to me. If this actually happened than the person probably thought they could handle the intensity of spinning classes and was mistaken. You need to have a decent cardiovascular fitness base if you intend to participate in such a class, or even HIIT for that matter.

Most of those spinning classes last 60 minutes, which is way too long for a proper HIIT session. A proper HIIT session should only last 20-30 minutes, to derive maximum benefit. If you can go longer than that you are not doing the high intensity phase at a high enough intensity level (or you are just overtaxing yourself for little or no benefit)!

It's not likely because his heart couldn't take it. Heart attacks are caused by clotting of an artery leading to the heart muscle.

He may have had bad cholesterol levels to begin with.
