I haven't been getting to the gym until around midnight lately and my workout lasts about an hour (depending on how I am feeling after work and all). I then come home and try to stay up for at least an hour before hitting the rack (bed for those who aren't sure. LoL). Would it be ok to eat something like a piece of boneless pork chop? I made some today to take in my lunch (marinated in regular barbecue sauce, not the healthiest I know, but, not too aweful bad I wouldn't imagine), but it's sound extremely good post work out (I'm starving)...So would this be bad to eat and then go to sleep around 45min to an hour later?? Or should I stick to just fruits or vegetables?

In the future try to stay away from the pork as it is high is Saturated fats and sodium. Instead of BBQ pork chops, Try BBQ chicken instead. Protein is great before bed with veggies, just try to get lean protein.
