Healthy granola bars?

Is it possible?? I want to make my own with:
* 2 cups oats
* 3/4 cup wheat germ
* 3/4 cup sunflower seeds
* 1 cup peanuts, crushed
* 2/3 cup brown sugar
* 1/2 cup honey
* 4 Tbsp butter
* 2 tsp vanilla extract
* 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
* approximately 8 oz. dried fruit

it's a lot of honey, and I'd like to do without the butter and brown sugar.. Will it bind without the butter?

Any ideas what to add/sub/nix?

these are not a granola, but they are very yumi


this was my staple food source for a long time.


1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

then stir in
2 large eggs
1 cup Splenda
1 tablespoon natural molasses
1/4 cup milk (1% or less)
1 3/4 cups old fashioned oatmeal
1 cup raisens, or cranberries, or cherries, or whatever, no chocolate chips LOL!

set oven at 350
smear out on a well greased pan

and cook 20 minutes, or until desired crispiness.
 
Healthy Brownies

One box of brownie mix
One quarter ounce of good pot
- can substitute an ounce of **** pot.

Once you get an idea for the ingredients, you'll be able to play with stuff and make your own. I would scrap the added sugars for the most part though.
