Hey guys I need some help on Healthy foods or recipe's I could try that I could get anywere like a krogers,meijers,wal-mart ect.....I am a 15 year old male just wants ta be healthyer becouse being healthy benefits almost your entire life.

proly somewhear in the nutrtion section(lol) but you don't understand I need you guys to be more specific becouse sure you have rice but what kind of white rice should I eat?for example I know from the site it is bad to eat stuff thats boiled in a plastic bags.heres anouther example peanut butter sure ut says peanut butter but what kind of peanut butter,theres all sorts of brands of peanut butter,what I wanna know is what brand of those foods you listed do you guys get.for example should I get Riceoronie or Uncle Bens rice?
 
hey there with the peanut butter- just get any1 thats natural

and as for the rice, u wanna buy it plain (maybe the supermarket brand) n add spices n herbs if u want yourself

First, please try to work on your typing, spelling, and punctuation - it would make your posts a lot easier to read. :)

Rice - get brown rice, not instant or flavored.

Peanut Butter - not Skippy or Peter Pan type stuff, get the natural kind (the only ingredients should be peanuts, and maybe salt)

The idea is to eat as whole as possible, meaning not instant, processed, etc. Instead of instant oatmeal (flavored or not), get the old fashioned whole oats - stuff like that.

Just to get you started, some quick ideas courtesy of Google :) you ( or should I say ...your parents ! ;) ) can try......


Breakfast

- Protein Shake : milk or water in a blender and add some banana, peanut butter, ice cubes and blend. Add 1 scoop of whey protein powder

- Whole grain toast or bagel with ( natural ) peanut butter

- Eggs-fried, scrambled, poached, or hard-boiled with whole grain toast

- Oatmeal with chopped nuts and raisins, a sliced banana, or strawberries etc.

- Fresh fruit with a container of yogurt and add some granola

Lunch

- Egg salad sandwich on whole wheat bread with lettuce and tomato

- Veggie burger with all of the toppings

- Tuna salad sandwich on whole grain bread or roll

- Salad bar with a variety of vegetables

- Wrap with turkey, chicken, tofu, or cheese and vegetables

- Vegetarian chili with tortilla chips

- Tacos with lettuce, tomato, onions, and cheese

- Black bean soup, lentil soup, vegetable soup

- Veggie pizza or pizza with ' healthier ' toppings​


Dinner

- Pasta with pesto sauce, tomato sauce, or with vegetables

- Stir fry vegetables with tofu, shrimp, or chicken

- Caesar salad with grilled shrimp or chicken

- Broiled salmon with vegetables

- Baked potato with vegetable topping or chili topping

- Ravioli with meatballs and sauce

- Chicken fajitas with guacamole and salsa

Does this rule only apply for just stuff in the wheat family or every family?
