healthy day?

Today i had hashbrowns 0g of fat 60 calories cooked on fat free cooking spray for lunch i had shrimp poppers they had breading on them i dont know how many calories becz they served it to us at school lol with tator tots i know that stuff was bad for me and peas and a orange and water for dinner im gonn have fish corn and potatoes and veggies all baked so was my meals today alright good or bad...was it under 2,000 calories???
 
not only that the brand and how they are prepared makes a big difference.\

oh and congrats allen on getting test for red belt. my dojo didnt have reds, just white, yellow, brown stripe, brown then black. same style too
 
Allen, spockafina and I all join at almost the exact same time, and were like the 3 most active members.

i just help people when ever they ask questions, i have a ton of ebooks on nutrition and i spend a lot of time researching stuff and just being on this forum ive learned tons i believe in sharing that knowledge with others that need help, and plus i need something to do between work outs and "doing" my homework :p

Thanks Gram, Ive seen a few shotokan dojos do things like that. It actually helps cut down on pretest fees (don't have to buy as many belts hehe :p)

Our belt ranking system is governed by Seshinkai Shotokan Karate International out of England. We base ours off of Japan Karate Association standards. You sound like you use more of an Okinawan structure.

We follow this

10th Kyu - White
9th Kyu - Red
8th Kyu - Orange
7th Kyu - Yellow
6th Kyu - Green
5th Kyu - Purple
4th Kyu - Purple with stripe
3rd Kyu - Brown
2nd Kyu - Brown with white tag
1st Kyu - Brown with stripe
Shodan
Nidan
Sandan
etc. up to 6th dan (everything else has to be granted, no more ranks can be earned by testing)

You're in high school, right? Sometimes I worry about kids getting too consumed with their eating - you're metabolism is at it's highest right now and you shouldn't be too worried with calories. I think you should make healthy choices, like whole grains, fruits, veggies, etc. instead of focusing on how many calories you ate in a particular day.
 
Spockafina im just bout ready to turn 16. I do eat all that kind of stuff because i love fruits and veggies i eat like 3 apples a day or 2 apples and an orange i eat alot of veggies in my salad and then when i come home for dinner we have 2 vegtables. Well if my metabolism is suppose to be higher how come its not like burning more fat off i run like 4-6 days a week outside up hills like i run a mile n a half then sometimes when i feel like it over a 2 or more im just so afraid if 2 days i eat something bad maybe like a pb & j ill gain weight because i dont wanna go back to being fat again well i was never really fat just very chubby and now that i lost weight im always afraid if i eat something ill gain it back like last week wed. i had 2 cookies and friday i had 2 cookies and on sunday i ate at outback steakhouse and i was so down on myself i down myself alot about what food i eat...and i dont like eating alot becz then i get bloated like someone told me to eat 3-4 egg whites oatmeal if i ate all that i would over full myself and isnt it true when u overstuff urself ur stomach stretches the more u stuff it??
