I am looking for some ideas for low calorie breakfast foods. I tend to eat toast or packaged cereal, but I would like a bit more variety. I don't have a lot of time in the morning, so something that can be prepared the night before or prepared quickly in the morning would be ideal.

I don't know what type of diet you are on, one thing I like to do if I need some quick lean protein is slice an apple or cantaloupe into like fake bread, and then I put a couple pieces of roasted turkey rolled up between two of them, so the fruit is the bread. You can also make homemade muffins with applesauce instead of butter ahead of time, I will toss a little chia & flax seed in with bananas and pecans yummy and loaded with protein,

Yogurt or porridge served with poached fresh fruit makes a great healthy start to the day. Try poaching rhubarb in honey and orange for a quick breakfast topper. And you can also soak oats in any milk overnight but we love the creaminess that coconut milk gives. This makes a few portions for the week, so you get a healthy breakfast that’s quick to make in the morning.

I am allergic to coconut so odd I know, but I feed the organic coconut oil to my parrots and it is so good for them. I don't know why but I do better with protein in the morning vs. carbs. I will try the poaching rhubarb the way you mention though, sounds yummy and I have local raw orange blossom honey to use.

Hi there, I like to eat sandwiches and juice. Someday oats and bread with peanut butter.
