i started training martial arts 4 months ago, going between 2 and 3 times a week for 3 hours each session, I'm just about to start a new system where i will go 5 times a week (2 hours on Monday, 1 on Tuesday, 2 wed,1 Thursday and 3 Friday)
i have been trying to eat better and trying to find good information about supplements, i am currently taking a rice milk + lean fit protein shake after my work outs and trying to eat several times a day, my breakfasts have been soon after i wake up and consist of a protein shake and a large bowl of vegetables

in the 4 months that i have been training i have lost 25 pounds and feel much better, i can do more push ups, sit ups, pull ups and can run longer without getting winded then i ever have in the past. in spite of my progress I'm getting impatient, i look better, but i don't look good

i'm 6'2 Brod shoulder build. 230 lb down from 255 lb

so, what can i do to speed up my progress?
has anyone on here ever tried Atro-Phex? by bsn?
and above all, how do i get tight 6 pack abs?

I am not an expert in this by any chance, so I can't make any suggestions in regards to speeding up your progress or getting the 'six pack'. Even though common sense would tell me that you might just have to be patient if you want to get healthy, long term results, and for the six-pack...I am sure there's plenty of exercise forms out there that target that specific area to a certain degree.

As for Atro-Phex, I have spent a long time looking at all kinds of diet pills, fat burners and so on, and this strikes me as one of the more dangerous ones.

BSN have a very bad reputation from all I can tell. Their website gives you a list of ingredients, but doesn't disclose how much of each ingredient is actually in the product, therefore you won't know what exactly you take. There's doubts that the product actually contains all that they claim it contains.
There are no studies, reliable testemonies or any other indication that the product works at all.
Atro-Phex is also linked with a number of side effects, some more serious than others:
Headaches
Rashes
Shortness of Breath
Blurry vision (there are cases where people had to have eye surgery, and it's linked to taking Atro-Phex)
loss of body temperature control (heat flashes etc.)
Diarrhea/Dehydration
Insomnia
Mood swings, tendencies to become angry/violent
Nausea
....

and that's just the stuff that they know about. Personally, I wouldn't risk my health and mental well-being just to achieve my goals a little bit quicker.

I'd suggest keep training, eat healthily, be persistent, and you'll get there eventually, all by yourself! :)
