Hard to breathe after a jog??

sorry if this is in the wrong section
i know there is google but can't find anything

When i go for a 15-20 minute jog after i'm done i find it really difficult to inhale air as if my throat is closing up and its really uncomfortable and i get restless, where your mind just doesn't want to do anything but sit there, hoping you won't die.. lol and its a wheezing sound when i inhale what could this mean ?
this lasts for about 20 minutes after the jog
any one know would appreciate some comments

Sounds like exercise-induced asthma. I have that too, it only happens when I jog. (Or TRY to jog, I should say.) See your doctor and maybe you can get an inhaler. Be careful, asthma can turn on you very quickly, even if you've had no history of lung problems. And if you smoke, you should really try to quit!

If your throat actually closes up, I'd see a doc about it. I'd probably do it anyway since it lasts so long after you stop jogging..

I say go to a doctor. I personally think it depends on how fast/slow you were "jogging." And perhaps you were bending forward or backwards too much.

I can tell you that I sweat like a beast just walking to the door, lol, but I can run 5, 6 miles no problem. Once at a company's picnic, I was the only guy sweating like a one-legged man at an butt kicking contest.

It sounds as though you either have asthma or you have allergic reactions to the environment. If you are on some sort of medicine (like clen) or you smoke chronic, that could be the reason too.

yeah, sounds like you should see a doc, and that it's probably exercise-induced asthma.

The best thing to do with asthma so not to lead to other problems is to treat it, probably with b2 agonists, bronchodilators etc and you'll be fine.
