when doing handstand pushups..how do u not fall on ur face when working to muscle failure? lol i fell on my face 2 times alredy.. not cool ^_^ and then the rest of ur body comes down.. hah.. any sugestions?
i did then for the 1st time today.. i did 4 on the 1st set then 2 (tahts where i fell on my face on my atempt to do 3) then 2 (didtn get for teh 3rd.. yet still fell on my face.. ^_^ then 1 i went off balance and my feet went back down..

Just don't work until failure.Handstand push-ups are a skill exercise almost as much as they are a strength exercise, especially when you continually increase the range of motion.Try ladders; perform 1 hspu (handstand push-up); rest 15 seconds; 2 hspu; rest 30 seconds, 3 hspu; rest 45 sec; etc. When you get to the point where you know you will not be able to hit the next "rung" on the ladder, stop there, take a few minutes rest and start back at one. This technique works really well for many exercises.

Other than what ballast said, be ready to roll or drop out of it. If you just let yourself fall on your face or head, you're getting your entire bodyweight on your neck or spine, which isn't very good.

Are you doing them facing the wall or with your back to the wall?
