Half Marathon Prep

Just a quick bit of advice on this would be great.

Basically im just getting into the rythm again after travelling and some sickness, about 2 months in total. I seen an ad for a half marathon in 6 weeks and id like to enter, i think this could be rushing things slightly, any thoughts on that?

Ive started running again and i just wanna know if you guys think a schedule of running 3-4 times a week with 1 spin class at the gym will be to much~?
The reason i ask is because im going to have to do it 3-4 days in a row and was concerned this could be damaging as im just getting back into running right now. Any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated.

The sessions are roughly, 2 day HIIT for 30 minutes 2 3 mile runs

PEACE!

Depending on your background, this may or may not be too much. Yes, if you do not have the base training from before, you will have a very difficult time getting ready for a 1/2 marathon. But, if you have the base training and can get your cardio and legs ready, maybe you can get ready in 6 weeks.

Looks fine, it's going to be hard for the first week but you should be fine, make sure you start increasing the miles from week 3, and be careful with your tapering during the last week. I wish you all the best

Thanks for the replys guys :)
