had bib op last wednesday

hey im debs from yorkshire, i had the bib gastric balloon fitted 5days ago, the procedure wasnt nice at all and lasted about 20mins, the first 3days were horrendous i couldnt stop been sick even tho there wasnt supposed to be anything in my stomach as id not eaten anything 2days prior to surgery , and the cramps were worse than childbirth.

on my 5th day now and i got out of bed today as the cramps are alot better and my sickness is due to drinking too much as the dehydration is doin my head in, bought diacalms from the chemist for the dehydration, cant and dont want to eat ive had half a weetabix and a petite filous yogurt today dont feel hungry just thirsty, ive had 4 ice lollies which may have caused the horrible diarea i just had.

oh on the plus side i have lost 21lb already i weigh 27stone!! has anyone got any remedies to help the constant thirst please?x

I've heard that the first few weeks of recovering from the balloon are hell. My heart is with you girl. If you can handle this, the weight loss should be a breeze. Welcome!
