Please pardon my newbie-ness.
Belonged to Planet Fitness for a year and used their weight lifting equipment. It was pretty easy to figure out and use.
I changed to LA Fitness - and this place has ALL SORTS of different equipment I've never seen before (which is good).
My question is.... there seems to be many different styles of equipment for the same muscles. Seated.... standing... laying down...etc.
Does it matter which you use? Is it a comfort zone as to which one you use? Or should you constantly rotate types just for variation?
I've been looking at the pictures and trying to figure out 'how' to use the equipment pretty good - there's just a few I'm not sure. Is there any links that show the many varieties of equipment and how to use them?
(or should I just shut up and ask the people at the gym? laugh...)
