Weight-Loss Guys versus Girls Biggest Loser Type Contest

Weight-Loss
Just remember that they are people you are talking smack about and they have feelings... keep it civil please :D no cheap shots or such... (I know yawon't but i gotta say it anyhow...:D

I understand. Any ribbing is done it good nature, let me preface everything I say with that. Yes, let us be civil, and keep the smack talk focused on how good the guys are doing, and not on how the well...we'll not even mention it.

Question

When you girls weigh in do you add up all your huge weight gains as well as your little weight losses? When you add them all up & you have a net gain, is that what counts? Or do you just pretend the weight gains did not happen?

EXAMPLE 5 GIRLS

1 GIRLS LOSE A TOTAL OF 2 LBS.
4 GIRLS GAINED A TOTAL OF 12 LBS.

SO SAY TO BEGIN WITH YOUR TOTAL WEIGHT FOR ALL OF YOU WAS 1,000 LBS. SO THAT WOULD MEAN YOU GAINED 1% OF YOUR WEIGHT. WOULD THAT BE CORRECT. OR DO YOU NOT COUNT THE WEIGHT GAINS?

Chip

in the other team challenges, the weight gains did count... i added the total starting weight and subtracted the total ending weight... and there you have the difference.. divided into the total start and oyu have the percent..

Okay it's getting a little more complicated than I anticipated...
I am not a MATH person!
Simple.... please or I will have to pass the torch.... give me a formula to follow...
Tri.........help me!

Add up all the starting weights.

Add up all the ending weights.

Subtract the start weight from the end weight to get the difference.

Now divide the difference by the starting weight.. and multiply x 100 to get the percentage.

We'll help you out when you post the weights...

Ok, that's what I thought but someone was talking about counting in gains as well???

Each Friday I will just subtract the new weights from the original weigh in right?

Hmmm it's worth condidering........
