Grip starting to go on deadlifts

I've been progressing weight since I started lifting 2 months ago. Now when I do deadlifts (245lbs) I feel like I can't hold on anymore. I also do pullups on the same day as deadlifts and my forearms are shot already from the deadlifts, they feel like they are on fire after pullups. Is there something I should do besides what I'm doing to improve my grip? I can still get sets with my current weight but it's getting much harder with each increase.

I want to continue to improve my grip so don't want to switch to a mixed grip (I think that's what it's called). Just wondering if there's something else I can do to speed up grip development.

You can always use a mixed grip and/or wraps in a deadlift.

However, you might want to increase your grip strength by implementing the following:

Id use a mixed grip for your heavy lifts and a regular OH grip for your other sets. What set/rep ranges do you use? With DL's i dont like to rep above 8 really as form and grip does suffer.

If you don't want to switch your grip or use wraps, then just tough it out....especially since you want to actively improve your grip

Some use a hook grip, but I don't like it

Would adding another excercise at the end of one of my workouts focusing on grip help or do you think it would just burn out my hands and forearms? Like wrist rollers?

Jerm, I gave you a site that told you how to increase grip strength.

Do those and you'll increase your grip strength. Farmers walk is one of the best.

p.s

at the bottom of each forearm curl I let the bar roll down almost to my fingertips....they are a lot harder that way and work hand strength more directly

The best way to get a stronger grip is to grip stuff more. The forearms and grip can be worked a lot due to high recovery rates.
