Hello Everyone, I have always dealt with weight issues throughout my whole life starting out as being an overweight kid all through grammar school and high school. I have lost a good amount of weight in the past, 50 lbs at one point about 5 years ago and got down to about 160 lbs. but did it with only cardio so I had no muscle tone to show for it and looked simply skinny. I fell back into my old ways after my son was born and found that I weighed back at 214 this past August and decided it was time to make lifestyle changes so I joined a gym and stopped feeling sorry for myself and began combining cardio, diet, and weight training this time around. So far I have made great progress and have lost 33 lbs as of today but am feeling in better shape than ever do to sticking with the weight training. I am currently at 180 lbs and my current goal is around 170 lbs but I want to drop more body fat % along the way. The best tool I've found is by using calorie/nutrient trackers on my iPhone. I am looking forward to being an active member of the community as I continue my journey and would love to help others in their journeys as well!
