graceT's weightloss adventure

I'm a 26 year old woman. One month ago I joined LA Weight Loss at 217.8 pounds. I now weigh 199 - that's over 18 pounds in one month. I'm so excited to be starting this journey.

I want to weigh 180 by the time summer hits in June, so I can fit into my summer clothes from a few years ago.

Ultimately I'd love to be 145, I think this would be a nice, health weight for my hight and age. I don't want to be super-slim, just healthier.

My method is LA Weight Loss...I know many people have problems with LA, but I find the councillors really nice and the program is working. I don't use any of the litebars or the supplements...just their advise and strategy for healthy eating.

I live in Canada and it is really cold right now alot of snow has accumulated this winter, so I'm finding it hard to get outside for walks. Once the spring hits, I'll try to start walking/running again, but for now, I'm relying on healthy eating.

I'm so excited about this adventure into weightloss. Thanks in advance for all your support and advice. I look forward to being apart of the support system.

welcome to the site...

there's no reason to put your exercise on hold til your part of the world thaws out -there's lots of things you can do inside... visit the exercise forum for some ideas for working out at home...

thanks

Thanks for the encouragement.
I live on the East Coast...PEI.
I don't really ahve a budget for the gym and I don't live in the city so a gym won't be really convinent, and we don't have a Y. But I do have high ceilings, so I might try your jump rope idea, and I have a few old workout videos that I could dig out.
Thanks again for the encouragement :)
