Got no Idea what's going ON!

Well, as the title says, I have no idea what's going on. I eat VERY healthy, I watch my diet like a bird waiting for it's prey, I workout 5 times a week (2 day splits) I have a plain casien shake before bed, and yet I still can't maintain or really get the ripped six pack I used to have!

Ever since I let myself go when I tried to bulk, I have always just maintained slight definition but no matter how hard I try, and even the harder I try the worse it gets, and I just don't get anywhere! I try so hard to get the look I want, but It just doesn't go my way. All I want is my ripped abs back for this summer (Its coming soon here in Aus).

I eat 1600 cals a day, and 1800 on WO days. Does anyone have ANY Idea what could be going wrong?

I have a friend who all he has to do is go to the gym and eat quite clean, and he is RIPPED. It just pisses me off!

I realise Im sound very dramitical here, but It just gets me down. I do my research, I know what I should and shouldnt be doing, but Its just not working in my favour.

Ive even tried carb cycling, low carbing, high carbing, low fat, moderate fat - just nothing seems to be working!

Anyway, please, any advice?

No, I know what I should be eating, im no newbie to this stuff, I do my research and I plan to have a cereer in this sorta thing, so yeh, I know whats good and bad that sorta thing.

But anyway, but diet is oatmeal, egg whites, plenty of fibre, tuna, chicken, kangaroo, lots of veggies, plently of protein, olive oil, fruit etc. Im not eating crap if that's what U wanna know. I am eating, well say about 99% healthy 95% of the time.

Im giving eating higher calories ago now, see how that goes, but somehow I don't think that's it.

I don't do any specific cardio, im a teen so I get enough from everyday activites anyway.

Cheers

Sorry man but not eating enough and if not eating enough your body isn't going to let go of that fat. Chances are you've burned into some of that muscle too and lost more definition giving you "fat skinny". You are 5'4 and 110lbs and a growing guy. That is really small and way to few calories.

I would bulk up some, work hard at putting on some nice muscle and the next time you cut down don't restrict your calories so much, let the fat come off at a healthy pace. The bulking period will also helping restore your metabolism as I am sure its damaged some now.

Ive done a pretty massive refeed today. Supossed to raise my leptin levels by up to 60% in just the one day - if i take in enough. I have been feeling big and bloated, yeh, i think ive had enough :p

But yeh, that's the only answer to my question it would seem, too little calroies, body not liking it. I may have cut into a bit of my muscle, but im still pretty much the same in terms of arms and chest, infact my chest it better than its been for a while - its my abs im talking about here.

Anyway's, thanks guys, all i needed to do was hear it. :D cheers
