Got New Juicer

Hey all..

I got a new breville juicer, I tried carrots, Apples, Watermelon.....They r all good, but you know I just feel like taking them stright any more....So could you please throw in some Ideas of making them more tasty. I dont wanna mix sugars or any stuff thats gonna make me fat cuz I am on my weight loss pro.
SO please help me...I dont wanna keep the machine idle.

mix in some citrus fruits...they will dominate the taste of the juice and mask the vegetable flavors

although the fruits do have sugars in them, they are not bad for you and shouldn't be detrimental to your weight loss progress. You will only need to use a little fruit anyways, because the flavor is dominant enough even in small amounts

I bought a juicer last year and I love it.

In the A.M. I have a strawberry(or any berry in season), apple and carrot mix with a small bowl of oatmeal and a hard boiled egg.

At lunch I use tomatoes, red pepper and yellow squash. Warm it up on med heat(don't get it too hot or you'll lose the enzyme potency of the veggies) with some oregano, black pepper and garlic for a cup of soup with a small salad and some chicken or turkey.

Don't be afraid to try other mixtures you can always cover up a vegetable with a fruit but sometimes the color of the juice is not too appetizing. Just close your eyes and drink it down.

Breakfast-1 apple, 1 orange, 1/2 lemon, 2 carrots

snack-2 handfuls of parsley, 1 lemon, 3 stalks of celery

favorite-1 apple, 1 orange, 2 handfuls of parsley, 2 carrots, 2 handfuls of spinach, bit of beet, 2 handfuls of broccoli trees

Thanq for ur recipies ppl...I was anxiously looking for some banana stuff, but none..You know when I lived in Aus I loved APPLE BANANA nector. Thats a commercial juice, U know its that kind what you get in bottles in super markets. I love that blend, but I know I should be away from it cuz Iam on wight loss.

Last nite I made a juice with Apples, Carrots and Strawberries with a zest of ginger. It was kool.

BTW can we actually juice in a lot and save it in the fridge (say for a week)? Does that juice still have its nutrional values in it? what do you think buddies?

bananas don't have the water content for juicing and just gum up the works. You can always juice the other ingredients and then toss it all in a blender with a banana.

I don't recommend making too much juice ahead of time. The vitamins and enzymes potency is easily diminished by oxidation.
