- Crisps
- Fizzy Drinks

Breakfast: Nutrition Supplement, 2x Rusks
School Break: Fruit & Water
Lunch: Salad (or Sandwich)
Supper: Main Meal, with Chicken, Beef, Fish or something like that, including some veggies.

No eating after 7pm.

the foods your cutting out sound GREAT! and the part about not eating after 7pm sounds really great if your able to stick to it. :) (which i am not 80% of the time)

but i am worried with what you listed as your meals that you may not be getting enough calories or all the nutrients you need. the meal list definately needs tweaking. also, i'd add another snack in there somewhere.

Any Ideas for a snack or something? And should I drink an egg before I train so it builds muscle or is that a myth?

I wonder also if you are eating enough. Also if you are having enough variety of food. I actually look forward to my meals & snacks. If I did not there is no way I could stick with it. Not eating after 7:00 pm is great. I don't eat anything after dinner (unless I plan to ahead of time). That alone has made a big differnce in losing weight.

Readyfor18 - try a protein drink after you work out. The protein afterwards helps in the muscle building (not before). You need veggies, and whole grains in your diet too!

i wouldnt drink an egg, it is dangerous and also can interact with certain medications. if your looking for extra protein at other times of the day (i wouldnt suggest eating right before workout) then try some egg whites.

as for snacks its hard to say unless i know what the rest of your diet consists of. carrot sticks, apples, and yogurt make good snacks.

For snacks (At school) I eat carrots/an apple or something like that. I also eat veggies at dinner.

You must realise my dinner is varied all the time and I get good nutrition from that.

I am not going to drink an egg, but I need some form of protein, so I need help in that please....

EDIT: I edited it in the first post, what do you guys think?

i looked at first post again and it looks good except i dont know what rusks are? i mentioned earlier that egg whites would be a good protein source. also tuna and boca burgers which i eat a lot of.

hey RF18. WW, i think rusks are like biscuit things? I know in england we feed them to babies...softer versions i think. Do you live in South Africa, Readyfor18? When i was living there we had them all the time, with hot choc or with breakfast.

Yeah rusks are sorta like biscuits (not softer though, they are hard baked, not soft at all), but they are a lot healthier (they dont have toppings etc, and they are wholeweat)

I do live in SA and I always eat them with hot choc (before, when I could have them) but now I just eat them to boost my energy levels at the start of the day.

Why do you ask? Is it a bad idea?

no, just because WW was asking what they were and i thought it sounded like what we used to have in SA. i loved them! and SA, wish i was still there. where abouts do u live if you don't mind me asking? i was working in Tzaneen, in the Northern Province.

i don't think they're that bad anyway, rusks, i don't know the nutritional content of them or anything, but i'm just assuming they're not so bad. i think its fine anyway if you're eating them for breakfast for some energy.

Oh ok cool!

I live in Johannesburg!! Its so cool that you used to be in SA.

Thanks for all the advice and support btw!

For protien, try hard boiled egg whites (stay away from the yolks, they're very high in calories), tuna, turkey...there's a lot of other stuff filled with protien. Do you eat spinach? Spinach has a TON of nutrients. Also, multi-vitamin supplements are good, too.

Having protien before you work out keeps your muscles from catabolizing (eating themselves for energy), and it also helps to build them. My dad uses Myo Pro Whey protien. I don't anymore...it's too nasty. *twitch*
