Good excersise for burning fat

I am 16 years old, 5 ft 4in with a 26 in waist. I weigh 120 lb and I want to get into better shape. I've been doing pushups for awhile (I have worked my way up to 25 in a row) and I've started to do some pullups (10) each night. Anyways I'm not in bad shape, My pecs are starting to show, and my arms (when tensed) arent all that bad. One thing that I have recently been trying to get is a six pack and while researching online I found out that I probably already have a six pack its just covered in a layer of bodyfat so I can't see it. My question is this, what exercise (that I can do at home without buying anything) is the most effective at burning fat? I do situps, pushups, and pullups, but they don't seem to be doing very much when it comes to burning fat.

Now I know the saying "Abs are made in the kitchen" but as my family doesn't have a ton of money we have to eat whatever is on the table (like I can't ask my mom to buy me a dietary supplement or something). That said I don't eat much junk food. Rarely (except on holidays) do I have candy or sweets. Its mostly Chicken, beef, pasta ect. So what I am looking for is an excersise I can do that will be very effective at burning fat and building muscle.

Also as I already have a slight contour to my stomach do you think it would be impossable to get a six pac (at least a small one) by june?

stay active. the key is burning more calories than you take in. theres no one specific exercise that'll make the difference.

weight lifting and cardio are equally important. stick with basic exercises and a form of cardio that you enjoy and consume good foods. :)

I heard somewhere that some cardio workouts in the morning are good for burning fat. Is that true?

Don't worry about six packs or supplements.Eat a clean diet and watch were you put your carbs in your daily eating plan.

Regarding a good exercise to burn fat, try burpees performed in interval fashion. Not only will you burn fat, but they are excellent for conditioning purposes.

Look here:

Tabata Intervals

In addition to everything else suggested, interval training is helpful for shedding fat. Here's an example:

20sec activitiy
10sec rest
repeat for 4 minutes

You can get creative with the activity. Here's a short list of activities I've used or thought of using.

jump rope
squats - (bodyweight, front)
burpees (ballast's suggestion would fit great here)
sprinting
combo bodyweight squats/shoulder press with light dumbbells.

Intensity is key with this form of training. Keep it HIGH!

its more a matter of when you can get it done. some swear its better in the morning but those who cant any other time is fine.

Cardio workouts are good in the morning before breakfast because the body has to draw on fat reserves for energy - which burns your fat quicker then if you did the same excercise after breakfast then the body would get energy from the food you just ate.
