Greetings to you all!

I'm 46, 5'6" and 255. Quit driving a truck 3 1/2 years ago at 256 pounds. Got down to 215, then met my wife-to-be. But it's just in the last six months that I have really begun to feel my extra poundage. I'd feel and look by best at around a solid 175 (I don't care what the charts say...I'd look anorexic at 140!).

I've been very blessed with overall good health, and I've taken it for granted, but no more. I don't have joint pain, diabetes, or other serious malady. My BP is a little high (this morning 137/87), and my cholesterol runs high in my family anyway.

But it's time to get the pounds off. So, I just wanted to pop in and say hello, wish everyone well, and I'll be tracking myself here.
