Hey,

Check around the net for some good bodyweight exercises. Various pushups, squats, etc. can give you a kick-ass workout if you do them right and you don't need any equipment or space.

I started with Matt Furey's stuff - he's an arrogant jerk, but his exercises are really good. Google hindu pushups and hindu squats. Those two alone will give you a pretty good full-body workout if you do them right, cardio included.

There are a ton of pushup variations that keep your body guessing, as well as core stuff too.

Have a great time in Israel! I'm probably going to be going in the fall with the Birthright organization, so I hope it's amazing.

Cheers

If you've got furey's ab book, the magnificent 7 is a good place to start, then just pick a bunch of other ones you like and do them. The main thing with core is to work all angles, so doing 200 crunches isn't as good as doing much fewer of a bunch of different exercises. The first exercise in the mag. 7, the farmer burns stomach flattener is a really cool exercise. I did it for awhile and then got punched in the stomach (martial arts class), and I barely felt it. People say it helps for weight loss and toning, but I weigh 155 and don't really have anywhere to go down, so I don't know about that.

Cheers

ok so do the mag 7 and what else?
i want something that will redice my stomach and boobs.and maybe strenthen them up..i dont want to have a one hour long routine either.what else in the book u recomend?

I was in Israel for a visit as a teenager, and I do not remember any gyms, but remember, people there eat and act very differently than Americans.........it's much more fruits and veggies, and much less junk. Also, it's much more walking and activity.

Enjoy Shabbos but take care to then eat less during the week. Or, eat small amounts of each of the Shabbos foods. You don't have to stuff yourself with every course.

My son is spending two years there and says there is not that much red meat. It's much leaner proteins. He also says that he rarely sees fat Israelis!

Let us know how you're doing!

i hope i feel comfterbole enought to take my shirt off in a place that no1 will ever see me again.
