My Goal is to lose 100lbs in around 1 year.

>Food is a major life suppressor for me. I want to overcome the addiction.

>Exercise is super hard for my because I have health issues caused by *dundunduuuuuuun* being overweight! So I need to find type of exercise that won't cause extreme pain. Walking works sort-of, but if there is something that will help me shape up better I would love to hear it.

>I need support and maybe someone to keep me in check. THAT is my biggest hang-up!
 
You have come to the right place for support on your journey! Can you tell us a bit more about yourself? Starting height and weight, age, a little bit about you, etc...

Walking is good exercise and a great starting point! What kind of pain do you experience when you workout? I find pool workouts (swimming and/or aqua fitness) to be easier on my joints and still an amazing workout.
I find that having little goals helps me to stay motivated. I also really like entering races. I like to do 5K's, I find that distance is in my comfort zone and I can push myself to better my time. I also love the energy that comes with joining in on these walks/runs.
