hey everyone! i'm new to the forum! i am currently stationed in arizona - my husband just got relocated to colorado (and i wont be leaving here until the end of august) so for now instead of just moping in my room i've decided to attempt to drop the extra 25 lbs i've picked up in the past 6 months!! so yesterday instead of going out partying for cinco de mayo i went to the gym last night did a quick workout and a short run (a mile or so) just to get back into the swing of things...
this morning i went to the gym and did a better work out (my sets were broken down like this - 25 reps, 20 reps, 15 reps, 10 reps then 5 reps) on the first 3 sets i kept my weight light and upped the weight for the last 2 sets... i definitely feel it now haha.
i'm watching what i eat/drink now.. i'm going to try to stay away from alcohol and soda (and carbonation)... i'm hoping to just drink water. went to the supermarket today and bought frozen vegetables, chicken, olive oil, the masterpiece grilling seasonings and some brown so for lunch i made up some chicken in olive oil and seasonings and frozen vegetables (peas, carrots, corn mix) on my forman grill and served it over some brown rice! =)
i didn't do any cardio this morning at the gym so i'm hoping to head back there later and do a half an hour or so on the tredmill.
i'm hoping to drop 15 lbs by 4th of july for a trip i'm planning with my husband to los angeles! since i'll only see him like 2 times before then i really would love to surprise him!
anyone have any suggestions to help spice up my workouts?
