getting surgery

So last week is when I started getting more serious with my diet/exercise to shed about 15 pounds. I have to get surgery and scheduled it for June 17th so now all my motivation is gone. I'll have to stop working out for 4 weeks after my surgery. I have no motivation to continue my strength training workouts when I'm just gona lose any muscle mass I work hard for. Should I not bother continuing for the next few weeks til my surgery?
