Getting rid of my excess FAT!! HELP!!

Hey people.

I'm a new member and I've decided to turn here because there was no where else to go. I got to a point in my life (4 months ago) when I weighed 123.6 KG and I'm only 19 yearls old. 4 months down the track and I'm weighing in at 99.8 KG and damn proud of it!! I like the way my body is looking but I know I can imrove in certain areas. The trouble is I'm getting SO MANY different opinions that contradict eachother and I'm so confused that I'm losing focus because I dont know what to concentrate on.

-My current programme is doing treadmill for 40 minutes before I eat lunch and 40 minute bike session about 4 hours after that.

-My diet is VERY stable as I sought professional advice for it. ( I eat alot of chicken, only wholemeal bread 4 slices a day and have cut out choc, chips, soft drink and carb food like pastas and potato etc). Sometimes I cant eat breakfast or dinner because my time schedule simply doesnt allow it however I try my best.

I'm 180 cms and I was told that my weight should be approx 85 KG which means 14 more to go! I desperately wanna lose the last remaining bit of my man tits (lol I dont know the correct term for this), my gut and my bloody OBLIQUES/Love handles which seems to be just kicking back and chillin on my body (thats what it feels like, even though I know I have lost a reasonable amount from there). Do I do target exercising for these areas like a cross-trainer?? Or is target training a myth??? Or If I continue losing weight they will reduce themselves ?? I defenitely dont want to be skinny but I understand that I have to lose the weight before I can start toning or/and building my muscles. Can you please help me?? Thanks a million to anyone that replies in advance and I'll give you a million after aswell!

Ooooo no add a muscle routine right now :) , as you add muscle to your body your going to loose bf and the love handles and chest fat(man boobs)will start to lean out. still do the cardio and your diet sounds very sensible, your loosing weight right now so i think your daily cals are good too.
unfortunately you cant spot reduce those areas. but like i said keep it up with the cardio and do add resistance training :)

eat every 3-4 hours man. I thought i didnt have any time for that either but i have made my own meal replacement shake, takes 10 seconds to make, 5 seconds to drink. So there you go, 15 second meal, anyone has a spare 15 seconds every 3 hours.

The love handles will be the last to go, they are usually the last 10-15 lbs of fat. To me it sounds like you do way too much cardio. Cut out a 40 min cardio session and replace it with a 45 min weight training session. Flex magazine just did an ariticle this month about x-frame training, it is an 12 week program to make your waist look smaller by widening other areas (. Also stay away from weight training your obliques, if you still have quite a bit of fat covering them then it will just make you look wider and fatter.

Smiley.. Thanks for replying first of all :) My friend said that I should start TONING my body instead of adding muscle. I don't exactly know what this means but is it similar to what you're refering to ? And I know friends information is handed down so it can get mixed up or bits and pieces missing lol.

vramirez64.. Also thank you for replying aswell!! I try and get in some fruit here and there but because I'm hecticly busy at work and school I dont have the place to actually make a drink. However I think I might find some recipies on the net and make them before I leave for my day. About the cardio, I sort of didnt know when to change what I was doing because I was doing the exact same amount when I started at 123.6 KG. Now I'm down to about 98.5.. So I think with the advice given, I might go to the local gym and start some weights. I just wasnt sure as to when I should start the weight training..

your welcome :) toning is one of those words ppl use to describe weight lifting...but regardless of the word your still adding muscle. they will say they are "toning" pretty much means firming up the body. good idea for anyone to add weights to theyre exercise routine.(the sooner the better IMO :) )

as for shakes...alot of diffrent ones out there. i like Optimum Nutritions shakes(just add water and your set)
