Getting rid of cellulite

I am an 18 year old female that has a tad bit of cellulite in my upper thigh area. I am short(5'2) and weigh about 130 pounds, which to me is a little over weight. I want to loose about fifteen pounds and get rid of the cellulite. I have tried in the pass to exercise every day. Cardio being about 1hr and 30min with a few ab work outs but I always become discouraged with in a week. I think this is due to the fact that I feel like I really don't know what I am doing. What is the best workouts I can do to loose fifteen pounds and reduce the cellulite. Also what diet should I stick to.

A good mixture of resistance training and cardio. You can't spot reduce cellulite or fat for that matter. You just have to workout and eat right and eventually it will start to come off.
Personally I resistance train Mon, Wed, Fri, and cardio/abs Tues, Thurs, and sometime Sat. There are plenty of workouts out there you just need to find the right one for you. Also, the wieght this is different. Of course muscle weighs for than fat. So there could be 2 people weighing the same amount but look completly different. Body fat % is something that you should look at. Try lowering you body fat % rather than loose weight. You can get that checked at a local gym. I have a scale that tells me BF% but I doubt it is correct, but it does get me in the ball park.

you can lose the weight but usually not the cellulite. Sorry to disappoint you.

Wrong.

The first step to take is to lose excess weight. Cellulite is made up of fat cells, so the more fat cells you have the more cellulite you can develop. On the average, women lose 5 pounds of muscle and develop 15 pounds of fat each decade. In addition, the skin gets thinner with age so fat cells will be more prominent. Eat a healthy well balanced diet and try to get to your ideal body weight. Drink plenty of water each day to flush your body of toxins and to hydrate your skin.

The next best step to take to lose cellulite is to exercise. You need to replace the fat cells with muscle and the best way to do this is through daily exercise. A combination of cardio, strength training and flexibility should do the trick.

The cardio portion of the exercise program should consist of 2 minutes of moderate walking, cycling or stair climbing. You should increase the intensity for 8 minutes and get to the point of breathing hard but still able to talk in short sentences. After cardio, it's important to cool down for about 2 minutes. It is okay to use indoor exercise equipment.

Follow the cardio with 15 minutes of strength training exercises, targeting the problem areas. For example, if your problem area is your thighs you should do exercises specifically designed for increasing muscle in your thighs such as leg lifts. Adding ankle weight as you progress will help also. For cellulite on the buttocks, do lunges or squats with ankle weights and holding light weights at your side.

The most important part of the exercises is to stretch after each part of the strength training exercise. This will help to increase the length and flexibility of the muscle and also decrease your risk for injury. It will also help to increase your strength so you can increase your workouts over time and build more muscle. Some women prefer the Pilates workout that combines strength and flexibility exercises.

Losing cellulite isn't easy, but with the right diet and exercise, those cottage cheese thighs can be just a memory.

if u get discouraged very quickly with exercise cuz u feel like u dont know what ur doing. try using work out videos. try insanty. not trying to sell u anything or promote. but in my experience i have found if i have a program, and know what im going to do everyday, i find it easy to get into the grove and do it every day. just remember that u have to do it and push yourself. and diet diet diet very important, no matter what u do. just like they said above

good luck
