Hello All,
My name is Tina and I used to be a health fanatic. 5 days a week in the gym and counted every calorie. Then I finished school and entered the real world. I got out of my routine and lost my great body.
It has been about 1 year since I have worked out seriously. I have tried to get back into the groove that I used to have in College and high school. But my work schedule had been sporadic till recently. I am trying desperately to get back into the grove. I have asked a personal trainer to help me design a weight program and diet plan that I can utilize at home. I’m hoping to tone up, improve my flexibility and strength.
Right now I’m waiting for my new plan so I’m trying to easy myself back to my groove of things. I have cut soda out of my diet, limited my self to one cup of coffee in the morning and started drinking a lot of water again. I also have switched over to whole wheat bread, pasta, and brown rice.
My work out right now is pretty low impact. I get up in the morning and stretch. In the evening I have been walking and jogging briskly on my treadmill just trying to get rid of my shin splints. My weight training is also pretty light basically two reps of 10 on upper body and 2 reps of 15 on my lower body. I have also started doing various ab exercises which used to be my favorite but now I dread doing. I stretch before and after my exercises. I have also been doing yoga once or twice a week just to change it up.
I have been poking around this site here and there the past few months reading up on everything. I’m hoping everyone might be able to help me if I have any questions and hope I can stay motivated by starting a journal. I’m sure with hard work and dedication I can get back into my groove and get back my health and body!!!
Thanks,
Tina
