getting back in shape

Hi,
I am a former gymnast who had a knee injury preventing me from really doing any sort of exercise for about 2 years. Needless to say, I put on a little bit of weight, but mostly lost lots of muscle. Because I always stayed in shape through gymnastics, I'm a little bit lost as to what to do without it. I'd like to lose about 10 pounds, and gain back lots of muscle definition. I'm hoping this forum will give me some tips, and some motivation.

Was it a torn ACL injury?

I've heard those are pretty damn painful.

Anyway you'll find all the ideas you need to lose weight here.

I tore the meniscus in two places and popped my knee cap out of place when I landed a skill straight-legged and hyperextended it. It did hurt a lot, but I'm just glad I'm pretty much done with the healing.
