Get In My BELLY!

I Have Been Lifting For About 1 Year ANd A Half And Am Very Happy With My Results So FAr.. I Was Looking In The Mirror The Other Day And realised What I Dont Like Though.. My Stomach!.. Im 6'0" 180 Lbs... But I Have This Pudge I Am Really Not Liking.. Its Definately Only My Lower Stomach Area Because My Upper Abdomen Are Is Actually Quite Defined.. I Guess You Could Call It A "Beer BElly"..
Anyways I Fell I HAve Caught It Early And Would Like To Start Working On Eliminating It All Together, But Do Not Know HOw.. I Normally Concentrate On Just Weight Training And Nothing Else Really Which IS Probably Part Of My Problem.. Any Suggestions Would BE Awesome.. Im Very Determined To Get Rid Of It.... :) Thanks!
 
You can't spot reduce fat......your body will dictate where the fat comes from.

You may benefit from some weighted sit-ups to build your ab muscles but if you do a search on the forum you will soon pick up that abs are made in the kitchen....diet is key.
 
While weighted situps will build your ab muscles, I agree with JTM, diet is really important.

Most men hold their fat around their midsections (either their belly, or kidney fat [love handles]) it is much more important to have a specialized diet.

Also, cardio is very important. To avoid catabolizing any of your muscle explore running sprints, or high intensity interval training, this will burn up fat without eating your protein stores.
 
Thats all about dropping bodyfat. Get the diet in check and add cardio where necessary. As Adler said, I'm a big fan of HIIT as well. Increasing EPOC is more important than the calories you burn during steady state cardio, IMO.
