get fit

i've always wanted to get fit but this time i know i will and im commited im on two basketball teams and i'm gone stop eating junk food and i've already stopped with the soda so what should i eat
any diet something a teenager can fallow and doesnt have confussing meal ideas

im 15 and i play sports alot i just need to get thin before march when ill start working out and get a bigger frame

so i'm 6'3 and 190lbs

its just stomach fat not much but i still want to lose it and get a six pack im truly commited, i want to get fit before march get a six pac so i can start working out and get bigg

losing weight and gaining muscle at the same time is hard so i want to lose my stomach fat and get a six pack by march that about 4 1/2 months and then gain muscle on my arms and etc..


what should i eat, avoid, do and etc

pretty much for fat loss stick to the following principles:

1. eat 'clean' foods (healthy, complex foods and avoid junk or proccessed food)
2. exercise (areobic and weight training)
3. spread your food throughout the day in 5-8 meals of around equal size
4. drink lots of water (2-4L) and get enough sleep

If you follow those principles you should see results.

if you check around this weight loss forum you should find loads of information- especially if you look at older threads and not just the first page. Lots of people have written threads similar to yours so if you even want to search with the key words, diet, 15, or basketball you'll probably find something good.

Remember, in getting fit, motivation and consistency are key to seeing results.

that really helped i've learned taht the basketball player body fat is 7% - 12% so i gotta work towards that and i've also got conffused on the carbs eating before being active really confusing lol
