George Foreman Grilling?

Hey guys,

Ive been looking to eat healthier.

I have many chicken breasts at home, and i have found a lot of awesome recipies for chicken here that i want to try. I usually use my george forman, but is that alright?

And also for any George Foreman grill owners...

You know how the grill is advertised to melt the fat right off and it drips out of the front? Well, everytime i cook chicken the fat burns and gets crisp directly under where i cook the breast, resulting in me eating more fat than is neccessary. Is there any way to solve this problem?

the GF grill is fine for grilling marinated type chicken breasts...

Chicken breasts are very lean to begin with - if too much fat goes out of them - then they will be very dry... and not very tasty... Fat is what keeps foods slightly moist... that and not overcooking it...

You'll see the fat drip off a lot more if you're cooking burgers that are 80 percent lean... you're not going to see much drip off of chicken breasts...

I agree.. chicken is very lean. 112g of chicken breast is 120 calories and its huge! Put it on low cal bread (35cals per slice) and thats about 200 calories.

I always cut the fat off the chicken before grilling it... you will not get very much liquid off the chicken, if any at all...
