I'm currently going to the gym about 3 days a week, doing a full body routine. I do a warm-up of 10 minutes on the elliptical before I start my weights. I've been doing this for about a year and a half, but have noticed that the results have decreased. FYI I'm 19, 5''11', and 160 lbs.
Lately (past 10 days or so) I've been trying to reduce my caloric intake, especially of fats, to get rid of the little bit of fat tissue on my stomach that hides my abs and become a little more lean in general. I do 3 sets of 15 sit ups when I go to the gym as well, and have also starting exercising the obliques with a machine.
Basically, my question is, does the warmup + full body routine 3x/wk sound like it will work, and does this calorie reducing plan seem like a good way to make my stomach more toned? I've heard that most of the work to get abs is in the diet...thanks for any advice.
