Hello:

My name is Julia and I live in Southern California.

On November 5th, I had a gastric balloon insterted in Mexicalli, Mexico for $2,500.00 US.

My initial experience with it was pretty much like everything I've read in this forum. I had severe acid reflux for the first few weeks and a lot of vomiting. :puke:

My doctor has been good at responding to my emails, phone calls, and text messages but sometimes I don't feel that he has been as detailed as I'd like him to be.

I'm hoping some forum members might be able to help me with details.

:puke: My biggest challenge has been with vomiting. :puke:

:puke: I feel like I'm becomming an involuntary bulemic. :puke:

If I eat as much as a lean cuisine, I'll feel nautious for the rest of the day and will end up vomiting about 5 or 6 hours later. :puke: I'm worried that if I don't eat at least a dieter's sized portion, I won't get enough calories.

Perhaps my worry concerning undereating has caused me to overeat. :iamwithstupid: I often eat something quanties close to the size of a lean cuisine but I vomit almost every day. :puke:

When I had the balloon inserted, I asked the doctor to fill it up to make it as big as possible. Maybe that was a mistake on my part, I feel stuffed after drinking a glass of water.

Is it possible to have the doctor remove some of the saline solution without removing the balloon?

I've lost 23 pounds since my balloon was inserted almost 8 weeks ago. So, I'm not sure that I'd like to have the balloon removed.

Honestly? Maybe you need to see another doctor for another opinion. Vomiting like you are leads to other problems as well. You can do damage to your throat. There is also the lack of nutrition cause you are throwing up.

I don't know your weight or your full situation. I will say this, what you are asking about is definately medical and none of us are doctors. This is something you really should talk to your doctor about, and maybe in this case, another doctor.
