Gaining Mass Losing Bodyfat

Ok my main goal is to gain mass cuz i'm skinny and let's face it i want a muscular body. But also, I want to get down to around 10% bodyfat because i really want my lower abs to show. I'm 19 and i weigh 130 pounds with 15% bodyfat. I used to think 15% bodyfat was pretty damn low but i guess not. So yeah is there a way to get my bodyfat down there while still weight training and gaining mass?

To build muscle, you need to eat more and do little cardio; to lose fat, you have to eat less and do some cardio. Basically, you have to choose which goal is more important and tackle that first. Or you can do cycles of cutting and bulking for a few weeks/months.

what spock said.

I'd suggest bulking first, then cutting. You can bulk cleanly and only put on a little fat. You then have more lean muscle mass, which makes losing the fat easier because you don't have to cut quite as many calories. Bulk 4-6 weeks, then cut 4-6 weeks, then bulk again...keep doing this until you hit a happy point, then you need only eat and train for maintenance.

don't u just hate the situation ? haha
It sucks that you can't do both at once.. but you gota choose one like mal and spock said.

Which one first? it's all in your opinion really.
If you cut first and get low bf%, then when you bulk you'll still see muscle definition even if you gain 5 or 10lbs of fat.
If you bulk first, you will gain more muscle making the ability for you to burn fat easier (like malkore said). But you have to make sure you cut completley clean so u don't get too much fat mass compared to lean mass.

I prefer getting as cut as i can before i bulk, that way when i bulk clean i wouldnt put on too much bodyfat and i would have a nice'n'short cutting phase.... which benefits in many ways (ie shorter time cutting = less cataboism etc).
whatever path you choose is still a step towards you goal.
