Gained some weight back! :-(

I was running a lot up until December '12. Then I hurt my back, broke my toe, and now have recently learned I have a hernia! Needless to say, in the last 2-3 months I've put on some fat that I so diligently took off between last summer and my injuries. I'm going to see some doctors to determine what they will do about the hernia, and learn how much I can exercise while it's there. But looking down at my pudgy belly that was nice and flat only a couple months ago... is a little bit of a bummer. View attachment 20181View attachment 20182View attachment 20183

Anybody have advice for working out with hernias? Or slightly bulging disk in spine?
