Gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks

This is ridiculous. I eat nowhere near 2000 calories and I'm still gaining weight!

I'm 5"5 and currently 135. I used to be 130 . I don't understand what is going on. I'm not even close to eating 2000 calories yet the number just keeps going up and up :(

If you are under eating or have been for a long period of time anything your body takes in will most likely store as it fears starving. It will also lower your metabolism as to naturally not burn as much energy. The best thing you can do is figure out how much you need to maintain your weight and slowly increase your calories to you reach that spot and then stay at maintenance for a while and then go back to cutting but at a healthy deficit level with exercise both cardio and strength training.

If you haven't been under eating then make sure you are getting large quantities of sodium, are getting enough water, and of course aren't near any female time of the month as that in myself can change my weight a few pounds.

I would definitely say that i'm not undereating because I do eat frequently. but I just don't know where this extra weight is coming from

I very much doubt you've gained 5 lb so quickly. You may be retaining water. Scale is a very imperfect way of measuring yourself as is doesn't tell you what the composition of that weight is. Judge by how your clothes fit and how you look in the mirror.

I hate the scale. When did you weigh yourself? In the morning? Afternoon? Night? The scale is different each time you weigh yourself, depending on what you ate, drank, etc. Do you see any changes when you look in the mirror? Do your clothes feel differently? It doesn't matter what you weigh, what matters is how you feel about your physique.
